Korfball Shoes in the UK

Postby jeanfourie » Wed Aug 01, 2012 6:16 pm

to copy a post i just put in the korfball.com forums:

I recently spent hours and hours trying to find where i can get korfball shoes in the UK. After reading a load of old threads on here and doing a LOT of googling, I found a couple of websites that do the shoes. There are several different shoes listed under "korfball shoes" but the ones that i think everyone knows are Asics Gel-Crossover. I found that they exist in mens and womens versions, a few different colour options and in 4 different "editions" with 4 being the most recent.
Unless your Dutch is good, you'll need to set your browser to translate!

So the first site is this:

http://www.korfbalshop.nl/korfbalschoen ... -hoog.html

they do free shipping to the UK but i had problems with putting my address in so had to find another site.

http://www.onlykorfbal.nl/korfbalschoen ... -2_19.html

this site do charge for shipping (around 7 euros if i remember) but the shoes are actually ten euros cheaper! you can also pay directly with paypal without having to put in a load of details

hope this helps people out, i know from reading the old threads that people were finding it really hard to get them in the UK.

I just got Crossover 4's at Zalando, advertised as volleyball shoes and nicely discounted!

Kev Moss at Kids Korf has (or at least had) a stock of them. Being honest though, I don't really think they're worth going to any hassle for. I like mine, but they're no better than any other lightweight basketball shoe.

The Dutch seem to have a new shoe sponsor---they were all wearing Nike at the World Games. No doubt everyone will be wearing Nikes next year now...
